Bonder vinilestere leggero BV10

GENERAL USAGE DIRECTIONS

Applicable directly on freshly laminated surfaces free from dust, fibres, dirt and condensation. Completely hardened surfaces must be sanded and cleaned thoroughly. Check the suitability for use on surfaces obtained from paraffin resins. Mix the vinyl bonder light directly in its package and mix it with 1.0 – 2.0% of liquid catalyst (methyl ethyl ketone peroxide), bearing in mind that the selected quantity of catalyst depends both on the temperature of use and on the processing times required. The recommended temperature range for use is between 14 and 28° C. The product contains color changer to verify the homogeneous dispersion of the peroxide. It is applied manually, with a spatula. For quantities greater than 5 kg, mixing with a whisk is recommended, while for 200 l drums the aid of a follower plate extruder-mixer guarantees the best mixing efficiency. The product has also been formulated to be sprayed, where the large surfaces of the components or the rapid cycles of mass production require it. For further details and for the recommended application procedures, refer directly to the “Guidelines for Adhesive Mastics”, available at the INTEC Technical Assistance Centre. In its original packaging, the product can be used for 6 months if stored indoors away from direct sunlight, at temperatures not exceeding 20°C. There may be a change in frost weather.

The BV10 series bonders are certified by RINA (Type Approval DIP146622CS)

Light adhesive mastic based on unsaturated vinylester resins, microspheres and light reinforcing fillers, characterized by high mechanical and thermal properties, and low shrinkage. Specifically formulated for gluing slabs and inserts in expanded Balsa, PVC, PET, PIR and polyurethane, it is easily spread and de-aerated without dripping from vertical surfaces. Under pressure or under vacuum, it flows easily, saturating every crack and cavity in the foam, thus guaranteeing high mechanical, thermal and chemical properties of the sandwich laminate. In addition to the low specific weight of its formulation, there is limited shrinkage during the hardening phase and excellent adhesion performance even on high density foams.

SUPPORTS
