MA 420
Plexus® AO/MA420 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for the structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite
assemblies. Combined at a 10:1 ratio, AO420 is a fast-curing system. Plexus AO420 is the standard choice for composite bonding
applications in the transportation sectors because it requires virtually no surface preparation. It is a product that also offers
a unique combination of excellent fatigue life, exceptional impact resistance, and superior toughness. Plexus AO420 is available in
amber, blue, or black and is supplied in a ready-to-use cartridge, 20-liter pails, or 200-liter drums to be applied as a non-sag adhesive.
MA 425
Plexus® MA425 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for the structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. Combined at a
10:1 ratio, MA425 has a working time of 28 to 30 minutes and reaches approximately 75% of maximum strength in 80 to 90 minutes at 23 °C (74 °F). Plexus MA425 is seeing
widespread use for composite bonding applications in the transportation and marine sectors because it requires virtually no surface preparation. It is a
product that also offers a unique combination of excellent fatigue life, exceptional impact resistance, and superior toughness. Plexus MA425 is blue when mixed
and is supplied in a ready-to-use cartridge, 20-liter pails, or 200-liter drums to be applied as a non-sag gel.
MA300
Plexus® MA300 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for the structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite
assemblies. Combined at a 1:1 ratio, MA300 has a working time of 3 to 6 minutes and reaches approximately 500 psi in 11-13 minutes and 1000 psi in
13-16 minutes at 23 °C (74 °F). It is a product that offers a combination of high strength and stiffness as well as the ability to bond a
wide range of materials. Plexus MA300 is supplied in ready-to-use 50 ml and 400 ml cartridges, 20-liter pails, or 200-liter drums to be
applied as a non-sag gel.
MA590
Plexus® MA590 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for the structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite
assemblies. Combined at a 1:1 ratio, MA590 has a working time of 90 to 105 minutes and reaches approximately 500 and 1000 psi
in 5 and 6.5 hours respectively at 23 °C (74 °F). This product was designed for use on large marine structures where a
very long open time product is required. Plexus MA590 is commonly used for bonding stringers and liners in
large fiberglass boats with bond lines up to one inch thick. It is a product that also offers a unique combination of
excellent fatigue life, exceptional impact resistance, and superior toughness. Plexus MA590 is gray when mixed and is
supplied in ready-to-use 400 ml cartridges, 20-liter pails, or 200-liter drums to be applied as a non-sag gel
PRIMER PC 120
Plexus® Cleaner Conditioner PC-120 is a chemical cleaner and conditioner designed to improve the long-term
bond durability of Plexus adhesives when used for the adhesion of aluminum and
stainless steel assemblies.
Fast drying at room temperature: parts can be bonded 1 to 3 minutes after the application of the
conditioner.
